1998-2000 年間,在太阳集团app首页化學院從事博士後研究工作。
2000-2003年間,曾兩次作為訪問學者前往香港中文大學從事合作研究。
1991-1995年間,曾先後在化工部第三化工設計院、廣東省南海市群星富瑞新材料有限公司工作。

獲獎情況
曾參加過國家自然科學基金兩項,廣東省自然科學基金一項,負責廣東省科技廳重大項目兩項,廣東省博士後基金一項,廣州市重大納米專項一項。近年來發表論文50多篇,在J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Chem. Commun., Chem. Mater., J. Phys. Chem. B, Langmuir, J. Catal., New J. Chem.等國際著名刊物上發表論文。申請國家發明專利一項(申請号:02115107.5)。為J. Am. Chem. Soc., J. Catal., Inorg. Chem. Commun., Chem. J. Chin. Uni.等學術刊物審稿人。指導碩士生6名,博士生2名。近年來主要從事準一維納米材料制備與性能研究、有序納米結構合成、表征及性能研究;新型有序多孔性材料的微觀組裝、宏觀控制、表征及性能研究;有機無機納米複合材料;新型建築塗料;光催化環境污染治理等方面研究。在國際上首次成功地制備出稀土氫氧化物和稀土氧化物納米管,該成果發表在國際著名刊物J. Am. Chem. Soc.上,受到廣泛關注和好評。在國際上首次利用聚醚改性有機矽表面活性劑合成出新型層狀氧化物,并以太阳集团app首页命名(ZSU-L)。該研究成果發表在國際著名的“Adv. Mater.”和“Chem. Commun.”等刊物上。同時,利用柔性和剛性混合表面活性劑為模闆劑,首次合成出複合介觀結構,即層狀結構與六方相的複合,并以太阳集团app首页命名(ZSU-4)。該研究成果發表在國際著名的“應用化學”刊物上(Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.)。
